Principle of QR Code

Two-dimensional barcodes/two-dimensional codes can be divided into stacked/lined two-dimensional barcodes and matrix two-dimensional barcodes. Stacked/row-by-row two-dimensional barcodes are formed by stacking multiple short-cut one-dimensional 5 barcodes; The matrix two-dimensional bar code is composed of a matrix. In the corresponding element position of the matrix, a "dot" is used to represent a binary "1", and a "empty" is used to represent a binary "0".

Data representation method

Dark-colored modules represent binary "1", and light-colored modules represent binary "0".

Error correction capability

  • level L : About 7% of data codewords can be corrected
  • level M : About 15% of data codewords can be corrected
  • level Q : About 25% of data codewords can be corrected
